The Ricoh copier error code 531 / SC531 is a fusing exit motor error code.
If you are receiving this error code it can mean:
Fusing Motor is locked by physical overload
Fusing Motor drive PCB is bad
To reset this error try the code:
"Clear Mode"+107+"Clear/Stop" hold for 5s.
Turn ON and OFF the Main Switch.
If the problem persists you may need to contact a local service technician to take a look at your copier.
